Computers Take Over The World! Pooch Dog Battles Evil

If computers achieve levels of intelligence equalling dogs (top) and mans (second) would they be our friends, or attack?  You've seen countless movies and read books on this theme.

Before continuing, let me assure you the Ol Soup Hound here would lay his life down fighting side by side with Homo Sapiens against evil.
