Down With Dengue

The weather is getting warmer. Because of this, Dengue fever from mosquitoes is becoming a problem in the U.S. South. What to do? Some scientists want to shorten the mosquitoes lives so the disease-causing host living in the mosquito doesn't have time to mature, but the mosquito still lives long enough to reproduce. Hence, a bunch of young mosquitoes, no old mosquitoes and no dengue fever!
