Wife's Missouri Relative Cracking Nuts

My wife Seraphina is from Missouri. You might enjoy this picture of one of her cousins from "up in the hills" utilizing a very effective nut-cracking tool. I've recommended to the clan that the device be patented. They are reluctant though.

"Why! Even if we was to get a patent, them damn Yankees would screw us anyway. What's the point?"

I tell them not to fear, that Obama is President now and times have changed! Maybe with time, and a bribe of a basket or two of fall season black walnuts, thrown on the driveway, run over real good to remove the husks, they might soften towards him. But, right now it's no use.

Sometimes, they really embarrass me...
