Letters to Raziel

"Found in a digital cache on a device cleared in an archaeological dig in an equatorial desert on Mekalleh-5. We were first surprised at technology that could maintain storage of digital data with Mekalleh's surface temperatures, then that we could interface with it. We are unsure of the significance of the messages. It appears to have been uploaded from another star system centuries ago. If so, it may give us a glimpse into the mind of a sentient creature from an unknown culture."
